my pup is about 80 days now, she just ignors and I am screaming my head off and she justs starts shaking her head and tugging, I got millions of scratches from her! I ignor her, I never look ather nor talk to her when she does this to me, but she doesnt care and she is not eager to please anyone at ALL, should I start tieing her mouth and paws and lock her up in a room for the whole day? or start animal abuse? First thing ima gunna do is bite her paw!!!!!!

@66Melinda72 Don't you like this way of training better than what Cesar Millan does? Cesar uses force, flooding and incorrect domination. Dogs have to comply with what he says because he forces them to, not because he gives them a reason to WANT to. They also don't have fun and enjoy his training, he makes it such a negative experience for them.

Retarded video, my 2.5 month old GSD pup looks at me if I make a "hurt" sound, then attacks harder.

Gotta teach them who is boss. What works for me: gently grabbing his muzzle, while not being angry or aggressive, with one hand, and stroking him with the other, just showing him its NOT ok to bite, and at the same time I am not angry.

Also, I taught my pup "Off", by holding treats to his face, saying OFF when he reached for the treats and rewarding him when he backed off.

Owwiee dont work.

So many aspects to training a dog that it is hard to put it all here. To the 2 things you mention, jumping on furniture and jumping on people; DO NOT let it start! It jumps on the chair or sofa, quickly sweep it of with your arm while loudly saying "OFF." That is sweep it off, not throw it off, you want it to be firm and uncomfortable but not injurious. For jumping on people bump it in the chest with your knee as it jumps up, again "OFF." That is a bump, not a kick. If it falls down every time it jumps on people/furniture it will stop jumping on people/furniture. Barking is harder, is it excited barking, alarm barking, fear barking? Mostly if you remain calm when the barking starts and just muzzle him gently with your hand and say "hush" you can minimize_some_of the barking; getting it to stop quicker after it starts, but barking is normal.

teach him from day one that your the boss, no means no!, and teach him all the basic tricks like sit, lie down, wait, paw and any others you fancy, always keep with same rule, dont say one day he can go on the sofa then the next day he cant, this will only confuse him!
