Training a dog to behave correctly has many benefits, for the dogs and their human companions alike. Understanding dog training behavior is critical in order to prevent such negative behaviors as aggression. It is important to deal with dog aggression issues by training dogs to interrelate appropriately with other dogs and especially people.
There are many dog training behavior benefits when it comes to getting a dog to act properly, for not only the dogs but their human friends as well. Some important dog training behavior benefits include preventing such negative behaviors as dog aggression by training dogs to interrelate in an appropriate manner with other dogs and people.
Another type of dog training program is dog training behavior modification, which is based on changing your dog’s attitude and responses. It’s differs from standard obedience training, which has a stronger focus on specific commands and teaching tricks. Dog training behavior modification is usually used when dogs can not get along with other dogs.
If the dog is having serious issue in dog training behavior you should seek the help of a professional dog trainer who can observe the dog in some of these situations to be able to find the right remedy. In many cases, bad dog behavior will probably improve, although in other cases it may not.
In order to know how to successfully train your dog to be a loyal and eager pet, it is important to know where dogs came from, and how their interaction with each other can affect dog training behavior.
The origins of the domestic dog probably began with the domestication of abandoned wolf puppies the early human took in from the gray wolf several tens of thousands of years ago. Domesticated dogs provided help to early humans and they were used as a guard animal, a source of food and fur, and a work animal. The dogs benefited from the shelter and food provided by the early humans.
This particular connection between dog and man continues today. Dogs today often perform many tasks for their owners, like herding, guarding, hunting, and rescue work or special assistance.
Dogs are pack animals by nature. Every dog pack has a leader, known as the alpha dog, who dominates and leads the other members of the pack, and who makes decisions for the entire pack. Many dog packs will have an alpha male and an alpha female as well. The other members of the pack serve to form a hierarchy of dominance and submission where every dog soon learns his place in the ranking. The only time the hierarchy changes after it is established is when the alpha dog dies.
In your home, you and your family become your part of your dog’s pack, as this would apply to any other dogs you may have. It is because of these natural characteristics of dogs that it is important for you establish yourself in the alpha position of pack leader for your dog when you start your dog training.
There are many reasons to train a dog properly. Good dog training behavior dictates that as the dogs in the pack submits to a pack leader, a dog that submits to his human pack leader should be able to respect his commands without question. You must be able to earn your dog’s respect. This is the first crucial step in producing the correct dog training behavior, and if done right it should lay the necessary groundwork for all succeeding training. It will also provide the building blocks of communication between the two of youdog training behavior

Dog Behavior Training ? How Much Does Professional Dog Training Cost?

Dogs can be very difficult animals to deal with from time to time, some breeds and types can be especially difficult to train and control. No mater how much time and effort you seem to be putting in, your efforts give no results.
Don’t worry too much about persistently training you dog, it might not be your fault your dog is disobedient, people in different circumstances may be failing to train their dog for very simple reasons, whether it be your tone of voice, not having enough time to give your dog due to other commitments like work or hobbies, or your children throwing all the basic dog training rules out the window. Here we will try to educate you on the difference a professional dog trainer could have on your dog’s obedience, and how much it will cost.
The options available for dog training
Group dog training sessions locally – four to eight weekly 1 hour sessions for around $40 – $130 (£20 – £70).
Private dog trainers visiting your home or work place to give personal training to your dog for around $25 – $110 (£13 – £55) per hour.
Dog boarding kennel where your dog lives with the trainer for around 2 – 4 weeks getting many hours of professional dog behaviour training a day for around $1000 – $2,500(£550 – £1,300).
What you get for your money
So what do you get for your money? Many dog trainers concentrate on different areas of your dog’s obedience and you will usually get a much better service for the more money you pay. Standard training classes and trainers will concentrate on addressing the chewing, barking, biting and digging aspects of your dog’s behavior. Hand signals may also be covered in dog obedience classes along with showing you, the owner how to handle trickier situations that can only be over come at home like housetraining.
General guidelines for hiring a dog trainer are to always research the dog trainer well, find out qualifications the dog trainer has in his area of expertise and seek advice and information for other dog owners who have had their dogs trained previously. Get to know your trainer well before handing your dog over to him/her and make sure you are comfortable in the methods he/she uses.
